Core Responsibilities:

Serves as the primary clinical lead for the unit

Completes treatment plans and assessments for program youth

Carries an individual caseload of up to 9 adolescent youth

Provides individual evidenced-based therapy services and group services

Provides in-home family therapy when feasible

Assists the Treatment Team Coordinator with training the program staff

Develops the transitional plans for the youth and training the discharge resources on these plans


Provides in-home aftercare supports to discharged youth and their family members

Facilitates weekly staffings for each youth in the program.

Participates in an after-hours on-call rotation with other agency program therapists

Flexible schedule, including weekends is required

Is expected to engage in physical management and crisis management (TCI) skills.



Holds at least a Master's Degree in Human Services field (MA, MSW, MS, Psy.D., Ph.D.)

Licensed as a LCPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist in the State of Illinois

Previous experience in a child welfare, hospital, or residential setting preferred

Must be able to transport youth as needed in personal vehicle

Previous knowledge of childhood trauma and trauma-informed program intervention
